This wedding was a true fusion, with each event tailored to a different person. The Sangeet was for the bride’s mother, who wanted to celebrate her favorite part of India. The laid back bride and groom wanted a country BBQ, and the gourmet-minded father of the bride wanted a formal experience. The design and planning crews added an extra 3,000 feet of terrace on the families Aspen home, so the couple could have their Mehndi and Sangeet as a gorgeous open air party, with guests wearing gifted traditional attire. The next day, a nearby ranch hosted a proper hoe-down with BBQ, lawn games and square dancing. For the final event, guests paraded through the streets of Aspen to get the groom to the wedding in a traditional Baraat. Then all made their way via gondola to the top of Aspen mountain for the black tie, fusion ceremony, where arriving guests were greeted by an (unplanned!) double rainbow. The black-tie reception was a feast of fine dining, libations and a packed dance floor that partied through the night. As guests departed, they were gifted beautiful silver boxes imported from India, as a thank you for attending. This amazing multi day and magical weekend in Aspen celebration was so gorgeous it was featured in Brides Magazine.
